Anyone recommend a robust head torch?

I seem to buy a new one every 3 or 4 months. I do chuck them around a bit which is probably why they start to flicker and only work after some persuasive slaps.

Anyone got a head-mounted torch that seems to withstand abuse?

I use a Petzl Tikka headlamp which I bought from an outdoor/camping shop. They're good quality and the batteries last about 14 hours solid use. I'd recommend them for general working.

I've had two for donkeys years and they get abused badly.

When the plastic lens over the led's get scratched, you can just replace the lens
