Hi,
For a small house (100m2) with and air to water heat pump and underfloor heating, how many thermostatically controlled heating zones would you recommend? There are 3 no. bedrooms, a bathroom, hall, sitting room and kitchen/dining room. The house will be rented out so providing a zone for each room might cut out a lot of questions. The hall would be open loop. Or perhaps it is preferable to group some rooms to reduce heat pump short cycling? Any thoughts welcome,
Best regards,

3 zones for me. Bedrooms on one, bathroom on another and everything else on the third.

Dont want to over complicate things.

I now run all bedrooms on their own circuit / zone.
Too many issues with people complaining about being too hot or not hot enough.
I don't set the systems up so that a bedroom can turn the heating on, just open or close an actuator on the manifold.
If the main thermostat is off, bedrooms get no heat.
