Got a acrylic bath with about an inch and a half crack in it which is leaking water!!! Just wondered if it can be repaired?
Dont really want to replace due to all the other work involve with tiles etc but will do if it comes to it.
Any help or advise would be great
Cheers Stu

isopon 40 car body repair kit approx £5 from most car accesories shops
you can bath in it after about 20mins

get behind the crack and cover it with a wide area of quality silicon sealant.
then tackle the inner of the bath if the crack is pronounced with one of the above ideas or super-glue and a squirt of water mist.

milliput two part epoxy putty big blob on the back if you can reach it and if the baths white you can fill the crack and use water to smooth it only comes in white or grey

Thanks for all your help and ideas, had a result phoned the merchant i got the bath from six years ago explained what has happened left it with them and a few days later had a call back and they are gonna replace the bath free of charge. Just gotta fit it now thanks again guys
