Just been to look at dripping overflow. Thers's a 1" float valve at fault. Are there washers etc available or is replacement the best option considering the cost.
 
If you are in hard water area replace it, I do a few jobs for a call out Co, they never repair allways replace ,that way it cuts down any call backs, Get them to sit down B4 you tell them price.
 
Just buy a pipe centre and Bss can get them. If its a type 1. I would suggest getting a large washer and cutting to fit
