Hi all.

Whats the the best insulation for external condense? Where do I get it from?
Thanks.

If external it needs to be closed cell lagging i.e. armourflex I'd imagine your merchants should stock it or bat least be able to get it for you.

I can see it on the website. Armaflex class O.
Just concerned about the 2 1/2 metres of 32mm going to the soak away freezing up. Any other precaution I could take?

I really need some suggestions on this folks. Would like a secondary precaution to stop the freezing. I've heard air gaps mentioned but surely if the air gap is outside then that's destined to freeze?

As above aflex and you could look at trace heating if you want

I'm going to pick up the lagging now. Unsure whether it's enough.

Never used one before mate?

Looks a bit like twin and earth and artic cable simple to do just either wrap in spiral (if too long) or put where water runs are eg bottom of pipe

Lol. I wouldn't even touch this job if it weren't a mate lol.

Lol just drove through a local estate and nearly every one comes out in 21.5" and into 1 1/4" with an air gap with no insulation

Less need to insulate if your upsizing to waste pipe size...
