industry
The video game industry is the industry involved in the development, marketing, and monetization of video games. It encompasses dozens of job disciplines and its component parts employ thousands of people worldwide. The video game industry has grown from focused markets to mainstream in the recent years. As of 2018, July, video games generated sales of US$134.9 billion annually worldwide. In the US, it took in about US$ 9.5 billion in 2007, 11.7 billion in 2008, and 25.1 billion in 2010, according to the ESA annual report.Modern personal computers owe many advances and innovations to the game industry: sound cards, graphics cards and 3D graphic accelerators, faster CPUs, and dedicated co-processors like PhysX are a few of the more notable improvements. Sound cards, for example, were originally developed for an addition of digital-quality sound to games and only later were they improved for the music industry. Graphics cards were originally developed to provide more screen colors; and later on to support graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and games. This drove the need for higher resolutions and 3D acceleration.
Hi all
Does anyone know of the best way for a plumber to get work in the offshore industry.
I'm told pipe fitting is the most common route offshore for plumbers but does this require extra training or qualification? If so, where can this be done.
Thanks in advance for any help.:(

I know in the Plumbing industry we often consider function before looks.
But how do you regard looks, especially in pipework installations?
I have worked for bosses who have said "never mind if it is level, so long as it looks level!" if fitting things like bathrooms.
I have worked with...

How important is it to get a JIB card? What do you need to get one? I have a CSCS card and never been asked for it, but I suppose it depends were you work. IF a plumber did a basic course could he get one as a plumber?
Please let me know if you have one or not

Hi all,
I am persuing a career in plumbing and weighing up my options at present.

Hi, my first post here,
I rent out a property with a open flue Johnson & Starley warm air heater (installed in the house in 1978!). The property is currently empty so I ran the heater for 30 mins to check it all worked OK, which it seemed to. A gas safety check was passed a few months ago...

I work in I.T and I am fed up of working for absolute Richard Craniums who treat people like dirt and basically working for big business. So in brief, I am prepared to work very, very hard, learn a hell of a lot and build up a small business I can be proud of.
I am about to start to...
