What do you guys do if you don't have MI's etc when doing Land lords safety certificates and services or anything else where the info is needed?

I haven't had that problem yet but I obviously will do one day.

I can normally download the MIs on my phone. If there's no reception then call the manufacturer's tech support.

If all else fails, ie no data plate, no mi's, tech support cant help, cant get manual, firm gone bust then nothing left ti do but to AR it

why?
some older appliances never had any like dog grates!!

do a gas rate flame picture and flue test then tell the customer its AR, thats if all appears to be satisfactory less the m.i's!
i.d if it does not look safe or fails any test's.

that way if they turn it back on when you have gone then your covered and the customer is happy paying you.

Ye, as the other's say, if you work on it, you'd have to at risk it as you can't tell if the gas pressures/gas rate is correct. So just have to do the standard checks and at risk it at the end.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
