I don't know of anyone who use's inserts on 10mm pipe. Just nip the olive up, undo fitting add Rocol, do back up and don't over tighten, works every time, no leaks for me.

I'm the same. Except I use Heldite.

Heldite over here is like rocking horse poop. Used to get a little bottle with a tank fitting kit. Prefer it far better than rocol.

If I ever use 10mm compression fittings (which is once in a blue moon) I always use inserts.

I have a litre pot of Heldite and I use it to top up a small pot which I keep in the toolkit.

I have asked before and not had any. Just done a search on the trade store as well. No heldite there. Going to order quarter of a litre from the link Croppie posted.

If you get stuck without Heldite, Halfrauds sell little tubes of Hermetite Red which works too and is approved for oil.
Expensive for what it is but can get you out a hole when the pot of sealant has disapeared off the van somewhere,
