I thought ukpf was broken initially it wasn't till I got to the fith one I realised they were different threads

How to pretest when threaded at each end?
I have a garden setup with metal pipe at each end and a pvc run in the middle. Proposed. That's what i want to do. Join the two with water pressure 1/2" pvc. So the gear is all there. Threaded joiner at each end. Elbows and joiners making the run between. But I realise if the threaded ends...

Shower waste slipping
I had a shower waste today which was supplied with the tray and wouldn't tighten up, just kept slipping threads. I've had a few of these before, they're always the ones in a white box and don't fit on the larger trays with thicker casting around the waste. I spoke to another plumber about it...
