What are peoples opinions on riser kits like this? If I used one would it be best to put some 4x1 under the legs to spread the weight so it's not just on 4 points on the floor. The other option is 4x2 plywood and sand and cement

Personally hate the plinth kits they come with so I use window trim and a fascia corner which then gives me a lot more flexibility with setup height.

Stollage is better in my opinion but the legs are quicker. On the times I have had to use legs because the customer has supplied it I've put battens round the wall like you would a bath and have the tray sat on there. This makes it pretty solid

Just fitted one of these exact kits for the first time (not my choice).

Never again. Ball ache.

900 x 1200 tray. 8 legs.

Fiddly to level. The instructions say to install clips to wall, well I had 3 walls, pain the arse.

It also says to screw the feet to the floor. How exactly do I screw the back 3 feet down 850mm away from me under the tray through a 100mm ish gap?!?

4x2/ply and a bag of tile adhesive from now on.

I just tile the plinth.
