Hi, I have a potterton performa 30he, the central heating works fine, the hot water however only gets warm. If you hold the flow pipe out of the diverter valve to the radiators it’s so hot you cannot touch it. While the pipe to the plate heat exchanger is warm. The diverter valve has been changed. Both micro switches work fine and are being activated. I have read in the installation manual about a flow regulator valve with filter on the on the inlet/return manifold, is this just for the cold to hot water flow, or circulation around the boiler? The flow rate out to the hot (ok warm) tap is fine, just wondering about this filter as if this is for cold to hot water flow, I think I may have a blocked plate heat exchanger and its forcing the diverter valve to open back onto the radiators?
The temperature leds on the front go all the way to the top before the burner cuts out, and the central heating pipe I believe is as hot as it’s telling me!.
Your comments would be appreciated.
