when central heating on the hot tank is filling via expansion,
not a lot of heat to rads, what is problem here<
blocked cold feed possibly?

Pumping over - caused by incorrectly positioned vent & f&e pipes. Depending on how long this has been going on will decide how badly your system has been effected .... Id suggest you get a professional in ASAP :)

hi we have just replaced boiler few month back but no signs then that this has happened before now,
better linking f&e together?

You could combine the f&e as you say or make the system sealed. It's unusual for a new boiler to 'cause' the issue though?

How much pipework was cut out for new boiler install?
possibly made a muck up on where the vent is to be re-plumbed?
just a thought!
