hi lads

would like to ask how you lads get your cleaner into a system with old rads (ie no half inch plug).
its a combi system with no magnaclean.

do the aerosol ones screw into the old rads... never used this type

cheers

If your putting cleaner in, you're just as well put a magnetic filter too??

drain the upstairs and pull off a lock shield and pour in.

I use this, handy thing for pressure testing and adding chemical, attach it to 1/2" filling loop or rad valve.

I have rust buster. Is useful but tbh I have found myself removing rad valve as air was easier than going to van

The rustbuster guys just off the phone, he said your tenners in the post ;)
I could do with a new one instead of the tenner mine is wearing out.
You could also use a garden sprayer which does the same thing.

I also use the container called rust buster and where possible use it via the filling loop.
