Hi all, new to the forum.

I have a Baxi 105e combi boiler that won't turn off with the thermostat or the timer controls. Basically thermostat has no effect, turning the switch on the clock timer to timed or off has no effect, it just runs full blast.
The only way to turn it off is on the main rotary control.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Doubtful that there will be. Best bet is to turn off at the fuse spur switch and contact a gas safe engineer to take a look for you.

Apologies, layman here. No idea what these are!

dont worry croppie doesnt realise anyone with a 105e wont be using 2 port valves either. but he will be back in a mo to close the thread, cos as said you need a techie to come on down to your boiler

Smart arse! He could have two zones - upstairs and downstairs.

But as you suggested that the OP requires a gsr the appropriate wording shall be applied and then the thread closed.... Meaning I get the last word!

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location.
