Bathroom Estimate Template

Do people have one of these? I really dislike sitting down for hours on ends doing estimates and quotes. There has to be a simpler way.

I have a spreadsheet where I keep all my jobs on. When I get a job near enough to something I've done before I copy and paste and tweak it. It has all my prices for 15, 22, 32, 40 silicone, traps etc.

Wow Simon. Now that is what I call organised. Whenever I do a quote I spend hours just thinking off the top of my head and then writing it down and then looking up prices etc.

I need to take a leaf out of your book.

Realistically, how long should a quote take?

If cust is supplying sanitaryware, most cases, then it takes about half an hour in total to put quantities into the spreadsheet (automatically adds on vat and plus 30%), add on labour which gives me total price and typed up in a word template.

Then there's a bit of maintenance keeping the prices up to date.

Sounds amazing. Does this spreadsheet include taking up old floor, putting down ply and aqua boarding walls etc?

My tiler does the Backer board if the floor is being tiled.

I usually do all apart from tiling. Bought myself a nice sigma cutter the other day to do 2 wetrooms in me own house. If that goes well I will tile my own bathrooms from now on as tilers seem to be raging bulls and damage things

My understanding is that as long as you are not their sole income it doesn’t matter.

But how would you ever know that for sure? Or is their self-reporting to you of whether you are or not considered satisfactory?

Pretty much same same as this just adapt previous ones
