torch

A torch is a stick with combustible material at one end, which is ignited and used as a light source. Torches have been used throughout history, and are still used in processions, symbolic and religious events, and in juggling entertainment. In some countries "torch" in modern usage is the term for a battery-operated portable light.

    Anyone recommend a robust head torch?

    I seem to buy a new one every 3 or 4 months. I do chuck them around a bit which is probably why they start to flicker and only work after some persuasive slaps. Anyone got a head-mounted torch that seems to withstand abuse?

    Blow Torch

    Had a couple of Rothenburger torches over the last couple of years , but i now use the "Extreme Turbo Torch" my local merchant gives me free servicing and a "Lifetime" guarantee....got two so if one gets knackered just change it for a new one... now that is what i call service.:D

    Blow torch problem

    I have got the rothenberger sure fire 2 today I have had problems with the ignition, is there a battery to change as I have had it about 18 months. And do you need to dismantle to clean it up as I havent as yet :( Hpe its ok as was quite costly :(
