switched

A switched capacitor (SC) is an electronic circuit element implementing a filter. It works by moving charges into and out of capacitors when switches are opened and closed. Usually, non-overlapping signals are used to control the switches, so that not all switches are closed simultaneously. Filters implemented with these elements are termed "switched-capacitor filters", and depend only on the ratios between capacitances. This makes them much more suitable for use within integrated circuits, where accurately specified resistors and capacitors are not economical to construct.SC circuits are typically implemented using metal–oxide–semiconductor (MOS) technology, with MOS capacitors and MOS field-effect transistor (MOSFET) switches, and they are commonly fabricated using the complementary MOS (CMOS) process. Common applications of MOS SC circuits include mixed-signal integrated circuits, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) chips, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) chips, pulse-code modulation (PCM) codec-filters, and PCM digital telephony.

    Potterton Gold losing pressure

Hi I have a Potterton Gold 24he combi that keeps losing pressure, needing refilled every 24 hrs. Error code points to an issue with the fan, but i think there has to be another fault to account for the lost pressure? When the flow and return pipes are switched off at the boiler, and left...

Vokera Linea 726 boiler losing pressure when central heating is switched off

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. We have a Vokera Linea 726 boiler which is, as best I can remember, about 10 years old. When the central heating is not on, the hot water is fine and the pressure remains around 1.5 bar, which I think is about what it should be. However, when we switch...

Duo Tec DHW Comes on When Cold Switched Off

When the cold tap is switched from on to off, occasionally the boiler will briefly come on for hot water. I know it's not crossed, it's just the water hammer causing false readings on the flow sensor. Do I need to put a not return valve on the hot outlet?

So in my aunts house, its an old enough system, no motorised valves, yet whenever the timeclock is switched on, it takes the burner some time to get power to it.
