showers
A shower is a place in which a person bathes under a spray of typically warm or hot water. Indoors, there is a drain in the floor. Most showers have temperature, spray pressure and adjustable showerhead nozzle. The simplest showers have a swivelling nozzle aiming down on the user, while more complex showers have a showerhead connected to a hose that has a mounting bracket. This allows the showerer to hold the showerhead by hand to spray the water at different parts of their body. A shower can be installed in a small shower stall or bathtub with a plastic shower curtain or door. Showering is common in Western culture due to the efficiency of using it compared with a bathtub. Its use in hygiene is, therefore, common practice.

I recently bought the tap from Screwfix which I got a plumber to fit. Initially it dripped so I got the plumber back - we never understood why it dripped but it is ok after he fitted new washers. The next thing that happened was that the cold tap unscrewed causing water to gush out. By...

Hello all,
I've got a Triton Trance 9.5Kw shower that's about 5 years old.
It hasn't been working so well lately and the other day when we turned it on a lot of green particles came out of the overflow pipe and shower head and it stopped working.
Do you think this sounds fixable or is it...

Just moved into a new property and as i understand from posters here, my set up is not very good! In an ideal world where i had the spare cash i would do as some have suggested and get the hot water added to the boiler - but at present there is no spare cash!

Hi Lads,
Could one of you quick fingered posters stick up a link directing me a pan pad/pedestal? You know the pan shaped base that would fix to floor then pan fixed to base which is used for raising the height of the pan.
Thanks in advance
Mark.

Hi,
I have a major issue with my hot water pressure.
The 2 showers cannot get enough hot water and struggle. The taps in the en-suite and bathroom reduce output when i run them.
However, if I lower the shower head in the bathroom the feed seems to improve, and the tap in the en-suite reduces...

Hello,
I have a problem with the hot water flow within my house.
It is very obvious when using one of the power showers, where it stutters and really struggles to get the water needed. It seems as if there is water in the system.
I have drained the system, and put in a 'u' bend in the copper...
