push fit
A push-up (sometimes called a press-up in British English) is a common calisthenics exercise beginning from the prone position. By raising and lowering the body using the arms, push-ups exercise the pectoral muscles, triceps, and anterior deltoids, with ancillary benefits to the rest of the deltoids, serratus anterior, coracobrachialis and the midsection as a whole. Push-ups are a basic exercise used in civilian athletic training or physical education and commonly in military physical training. They are also a common form of punishment used in the military, school sport, and some martial arts disciplines.
Hi all
Is it possible to cut existing M10 copper tails feeding existing monobloc tap at the 15mm section and then connect push fit M10 tap flexies?
Reason I ask is that the original M10 copper tails are eminating from two compression 15mm isolation valves with a lot of other pipework in the...
Today I installed some push fit plastic tap tails under the sink. This replaced the previous flexible hose (4 in total joined together by last owner - don't know why). I also installed some push fit appliance taps that will go to a water filter and a dishwasher.
Ever since when any tap in the...
I put a new bath in my daughter's en suite about a month ago and everything was fine until last night. She rang to say water was dripping down the wall in the porch immediately below the en suite. When I installed it the hot supply came up through the floor in 22mm Hepworth plastic pipe, I put a...

Hi all, I’m about to embark on a small domestic plumbing project (moving 3 rads + 1 new) and just wondering what your experienced views are around the differences between the main plastic push fit brands available?
Speedfit, Hep2O, Polypipe etc?
They all seem the same to me apart from slight...
Please excuse the lack of correct terminology;
The in-a-nut-shell version.
If I have a short length of 15mm copper pipe going into a JG Speed fit elbow can I use a normal compression fitting at the other end of the copper pipe.
The reason I ask is that I imagine fitting the compression fitting...
Hello. I would greatly appreciate some unbiased advice about a leak at my home. 3 years ago I had the house replumbed during a renovation and extension project on a fixed price contract for work and materials. This included installing an unvented hot water cylinder. We have always had to top up...

Cus was unlucky enough to have two leaks from the en suite. The stairs are and the wall around it are in a poor state now. Pretty sure it wasn't the push fit that was...
Hi all
Another one of those plastic DIY questions. I have installed the piping for radiators in my extension, as I have open web joists I decided to put the piping in the ceiling void with 15mm drops to the radiators, I have done this as a manifold system to try as far as possible to avoid...

This is my first post here and would really appreciate the help.
I realised last week that we have a mouse or rat problem and whilst waiting for my traps to be delivered the little bugger has gnawed through a plumbing fitting! Awoke this morning to the sound of spraying water behind the...

Hi guys.
I need help identifying a push fit fitting. Stupidly didn't take any pics as was in a rush and didn't think at the time. But someone will know what I talking about.
I replaced a 10mm speedfit stem elbow that had split right at the 90deg bend. Undid the 10mm pipe from the female end...
Hi, new here.
I would prefer my kitchen waste to be demountable but there is not enough space for compression.
So, that leaves push fit. I know solvent is best and most reliable but unless it is a really bad idea, I would prefer to try push fit in this case.
So, which is the best most leak...
Evening all, currently working in a property with grey plastic push fit on the heating pipes. The fittings are plastic with a brass section where the pipe pushes in. I can remember seeing these but i cant remember what brand they are. i can only remember HEP 20 being grey but i need to extend...
Hi,
Can anybody tell me if this service valve on can be replaced or repaired as it leaks from the spine of the handle when closed. I looked on-line to try to match it with an existing make but with no luck. Looks like a compression to tap connector type.

I have just pressure tested a system of pex pipe and push fit fittings to 6 bar air test. I soon found air escaping slowly from some of the fittings. I changed over to a water test and it shows no leaks, how is this.
