Been having some trouble with intermittent hot water in the showers/taps for a while now (was working for a couple of years normally but been getting progressively worse). At one point cold water was coming out from the hot taps.
I have a Worcester Bosch boiler and an unvented Megaflo system...

Firstly this a great forum, this is my first post but I been an observer/reader for a while! OK so back to questions at hand.
The house:
I bought a new house around 1970s build 4 bedrooms full refurb. New radiators and pipework. Plastic pipe under the floor leading to copper coming out of...
Got to call in to one of these bags of poo tomorrow morning!
only dealt with on the phone, she says fault code is no flame detected. The boiler is about 3 years old.
probably never been serviced.
im thinking service, clean ionisation sensor amd electrode, clean and check condensate?

Any thoughts on putting a 2 port on a megaflo return, which has a 3 port only set up.
There is no room or pipework space to get it on the flow to cyl after the 3 port. Whoever fitted it must have thought the 2 port was a billy bonus for stock.
My thinking is better on return than not at all.
Hi - the T&P valve on my Megaflo is dripping from the valve marked T&P on the outer right hand side of the system, and has been for about 18hrs. At one point it was quite heavy, but now it is a steady, but slow drip. This system is about 2yrs old and there have never been issues before.

Out of the blue recently we are experiencing an odd vibration from or near our Megaflo Cylinder. The noise occurs when toilets are refilling after flushing (doesn't matter which one) or when the washing machine/dishwasher is taking water. It appears to be coming from either the cylinder itself...
I have a megaflow system and have noticed that if I pour a glass of hot water and leave it to stand that small white particles are floating in the water at the top of the glass. Any ideas what this could be of what may be causing it?
Thanks

Hello
I am hoping for some advice please. I have recently noticed that my stop tap under the kitchen sink is really tight, so to check we can isolate the supply in an emergency I turned off the stop tap in the road - all OK. However, when turning it back on I noticed the 0.0001 dial is...

Hi guys.
Had a dripping through the discharge pipe, visible through the tundish for ages.
Tried recharging the air gap to no avail.
Had the 3 bar sustaining valve and 8 bar PRV valves replaced and it still done it.
Forgot about it for a while, but now its actually running through the...
We are considering installing a megaflo system as part of our bathroom upgrade. The water pressure is 2.8 bar. The plumber will have to install the cylinder into a cupboard which has 2 outside walls but is accessed through a door in one of the bedrooms. Is there any noise associated with...
Hi,
I need to replace my combi boiler with a new boiler and unvented cylinder. Which boiler do you prefer Worcester Bosch or Vaillant?
Which unvented cylinder do you rate, Megaflo or other?
Thanks.

We're having boiler problems with our Gloworm 30SXI which is 10years old (its been a nightmare since we purchased the house new with many parts replaced), and I now have to decide whether to repair the boiler again (looking at £200+) or replace the boiler. Someone who owes me some money has...

Customers 5 year old megaflo has a faulty baffle, it's dropped below the tpr hole & is stuck in that position.
Heatrae Sadia say that it's only the stainless cylinder thats guaranteed for 25 years and not any of the parts inside the cylinder.
Just wondered if any one has had a similar problem...
