i need to change a trv that is on 10mm, the trv is a 15mm with the insert olive jobby you get. if i change the trv and leave it on the old insert olive will it re-seal like a normal olive.

its one of them jobs where you just cant make adjustments without making more work etc, the 10mm comes out the wall straight on an elbow and soldering on a new pice is a bit close to the elbow. icould sweat it off but my luck it will spring back into the plasterboard and that would just make the day lol.

if its a one part reducer you may have problems with leaks if its a 3 part reducing set it should be ok just use some ptfe or jetblue on it when it goes back together

whats the difference with 1 part and three part never noticed, i dont use them really i preffer to use an extended 15x10mm reducer cut down so it sits just nice in the nut.
