Hi folks,

Asked today to take a look at an old Vaillant VCB282EH and found this.......

It isn't a condensing boiler mountainman, the pipe you see is from the washing machine otherside of the wall.

Chris you're very warm with the guess and I did remove the filling loop!!! :)
 
is there an external vessel on the rtn pipe with the lever closed.

The air pressure switch has been looped out...
 
not a gravity fed combi is it ?

It was until some muppet told the custard that the pressure needed to be at 1bar!!!! He then fit the filling loop and the valve to shut off the supply to the header tank!!

That left the boiler without a PRV as it was removed so that the f&e pipe could be connected in its place!!!
