2 years ago next door turned into a hmo and couple months later we got backlog of raw sewage coming up from drain.

We phoned jet wash guy and he came did a really good job strange that a rubber duck came out and no one in the house had rubber duck.

Also few month's ago we went out and came back to over flowing again about 6 month gap between the 2 episodes.

I've asked united utilities if it's a shared drain and they haven't responded yet.

United may not have any records of the drain so will need to come out and look and decide, it's probably down as a non urgent job for someone.

Report the blockage to United Utilities and tell them you believe it's shared drain so it's UU's responsibility. They'll soon tell you whether you're correct or not.
