Hi people, please can someone advise me as to what maybe causing this.
Firstly I have just had a new expansion vessel fitted also a new prv, pressure was fine for the first two/three days after fitting. It has slowly risen to 2.6 bar, I've checked all rads for any sign of leakage.
Can I assume It may be that the valve to re-pressurise the boiler might be loose or worn?
I've also checked this and seems fine.

Many thanks in advance from a limited knowledge boiler being...

Could be a couple of things, is the filling loop disconnected? If it is and the system is still pressurising you really need to get gsr in.

get the person back who fitted the expansion vessel and pressure relief valve

There is another way the mains water can pressurise the heating, straight forward fix for a gsr

What's the other way?

as this is an open forum please read the rules and if you are gas safe get your post count upto 10 and pm a mod for further instructions

Thanks tonycane for your reply. No the filling loop isn't disconnected, can you advise to what other options there maybe?

disconnect it and see if it still rises (you can bleed the system via a rad air bleed screw if pressure is too high)

Also I've tried calling said person who fitted vessel and prv, can't get hold of him.. This is a concern....

Shaun corbs, I've reduced pressure from air bleed in rad once already. Still rises.
Thanks for the advice.
