Hi we want to put in french doors to an existing windown, The problem we have is the room used to be the bathroom and the mains inlet coming in right in the middle of the window standing a couple of inches proud of the floor. the stopcock is here too. is ther any way I can sink thiis lower into the concrete floor as it will get in the way when using the doors
 
yes. depending on where it goes and what's around you can chase out more concrete and move it. a photo would help a lot.
 
Hi. If you dig a trench outside the building adjacent to the stopcock, it is likely you will uncover the supply pipe. From this point you can divert it to a more convenient position.
