Hi,

I have recently moved into a new property where the heating had recently been installed, I have renovated the house so the boiler has been relocated and the radiators were all removed then refitted, the system is a gloworm boiler with two zones upstairs and downstairs with separate thermostats. There are no problems when the heating is running, but when the thermostat clicks off there is a single loud bang that sounds like it's the pipes between the floors??
Does anybody have any idea what it can be?
Thanks in advance
Matty

Post some pictures if you can. May need an auto bypass valve

What do you want photos of Scott?
It was moved by my brother in Law, he is unsure on the fault though,

I'd say your brother in law has caused an issue with a pump working still whilst a valve is closed causing a problem and hence a bang, or leaving a nice big dead leg somewhere with a load of air in it which can make pipes bang. you might want him to have a look at the setup again and sort it out for you.

Zone valve the wrong way around where i'd look first, have seen it before.
