Hi there.

Thanks for the help in advance and pardon my poor knowledge of technical language (I'm not a plumber!)

Recently had 2 bathrooms refitted. Problem is with the main bath/shower control. The control has 2 knobs, one adjusts the temperature, the other directs the water either out of the shower head or the bath tap.

Been working great for the last few months but recently I've noticed that I need to turn the temp knob higher and higher for a comfortable temperature. The temp setting is now the highest it can go and it's just comfortable. All the other taps in the flat, including the bathroom sink tap is BOILING hot at the highest temperature.

Additionally, at it's highest temp in the shower, the water temp actually fluctuates quite a lot which is very uncomfortable... this is not a problem with my other shower or taps.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated... I would contact my builder directly but he has recently shutdown his business and can't be reached!

Thanks!

sounds like the thermostatic cartridge in the shower body to me,
What make is the shower?

if you take a couple of pictures and put them on here someone may recognise the shower or be able to point you in the right direction for a remedy
