Typical nonsense, though it is not as bad the £70000 p/a nonsense that the media were spouting early last decade. There are lots of jobs that pay more than that without the need of a 'degree'. You should have seen the public sector jobs that were advertised in the Guardian for the past 10 years! Everyone that I know who works for local goverment gets more than 30K, with a nice pension etc to boot.
 
Train driver number 5, lets hope they choose that instead.

I'd hate to be a train driver anyway, they have to look the poor bloke looking to top himself in the eye as the train runs him down. My PE teacher at school threw herself under a train. :sad3:
