Hi all,
This is what the garage walls look like. Pictures were taken today. A couple of days ago the thick damp strip near the ceiling wasn't there, just the thin ones around the blocks, so it seems it is worsening.
The external tap was removed a couple of weeks ago as it was badly leaking and routed through the roof space – it was removed to avoid a flood.
The garage is linked to the house and the external tap was on the exterior of the house 10m away from the garage.
There is also a tap in the garage and it is leaking too (dripping).
What can we expect? What do you think we should do? We are airing and keeping the house warm. We are airing and have a fan on in the garage.
Thanks.

Get yourself a plumber to investigate it looks very much like you have a leak ?? possibly in the roof space , this needs attention immediately to avoid further damage to your property do you have insurance ?? get it checked out and don't delay is my advice . Kop
