Evening all. Had a bit of drama sealing some compression fittings to chrome pipe yesterday was a cold feed to a toilet under mains pressure, wasn't a massive leak just a small drop round the nut, I had to tighten the nut much tighter than I normally do, just didn't want to seal properly.

Any olives better for chrome pipe?

Cheers

Copper is softer than Brass, that`s all I know.

It's the first time it's ever given me drama. Maybe it was the chrome plateing on the pipe might have been tougher than normal
