Anyone have good experience with the Alpa cd50. This boiler has a 50lt hot water store, designed to give 16 lt per min flow and as it empty's the burner kicks in to take over.

My client is saying that it delivers hot and then sometimes goes cold for a few seconds and then hot again (a nightmare when in the shower i expect).
He also says sometimes it starts of cold, this makes no sense at all.

just thought i'd put it out there to see if anyone had any ideas. The Alpha guys are far from helpful.

Cheers.

If it cuts out in a hw run off, It'll could be one of the NTC sensors failing, replace both of them,

If it doesnt fire up at all, to heat the store or whilist hw run off, could be the spark generator,

Is the divertor valve leaking??
