Hi all, I am a non-professional trying to re-fit a small cloakroom. I am replacing an old, small towel rail with under floor heating. I am led to believe the rail was on a separate loop which is fed from the hot water supply and not the central heating. Having removed the rail I capped off the...
Hi,
I've just installed a dual fuel towel rail. I've been led to believe that the heating element should be on the flow pipe. When I installed the rail, I didn't know which pipe was flow/return (don't ask - it's a long story!). Turns out I've put the heating element on the return.
I can't...
Afternoon chaps and chappesses
I have replaced a bathroom rad with a shiny new dual fuel towel rad (Kudox)
My issue is that no matter what I do, I cannot get the element even hand tight - always about a quarter to half a turn off
If I was to tighten fully, the pipe entry would be out of line...

Easy for those in the know but can someone advise me whether I can have a water filled bathroom towel radiator with il central heating. I am sure this is the case and think this is what is in the existing radiator atm. I assume you can only get electric and water filled towel radiators?
I want to fit a new towel rail in place of radiator in bathroom. I have a Combi Boiler system.
I have closed off both valves on radiator and removed radiator from wall. With the radiator off I opened both valves but no water came out of either. Is this normal with a Combi boiler and how do I get...

Hi i am renovating a bungalow we have installed a new central heating system. long and short of the story in the shower area my plumbers installed a chrome flat towel rail, which we piped from above so basically the towel rail is upside down.

Hi,
I'm replacing the famly bathroom and want to fit a heated towel rail in place of the rad, along with electric underfloor heating. The towel rail needs to be a fairly big rail (four women in the house ) and I'm looking at 1600/500, but the range of brands and prices is large...
Is there a simple power closed, spring return open motorised valve I can fit to serve a towel rad with a heating element, so that when element is switched on, the valve closes and there is no circulation around rest of heating circuit
This is on an open vented system and would be just on the...
About 6 weeks ago I got a call 'my towel rail is leaking'. Off I went, jumped out the van and grabbed a couple of spanners thinking quick nip up and away I'll be. Gets in to find the towel rail has rotted through. Drains it down, and had to cap trv as it was passing.
Went back today, new...

Hi
I have had a complete bathroom refurb done and have an issue with the towel rail that has been fitted as well as three radiators (on three different floors - we have a townhouse) - since the rail was connected by the fitters, they don't turn off when the heating is switched off. The only way...

We already have one towel rail heated from the hot water circuit. ie: When the boiler is heating the hot water in the tank, the existing towel rail (about 2 ft away) is heated. This works perfectly, so twice a day the towels get a good little heat through.
We're looking to introduce another...

My bathroom has been refitted with a brand new designer type towel rail. This is the highest radiator on my circuit and is slowly collecting some air. My old bathroom rad had a standard bleed valve which was easy to use. This towel rail has no valve, just a "bolt" and fibre washer. To release...
Hi All,
Attended a job today and was informed that the bathroom rail was on the hot water circuit. it is a large communal boiler in a block of flats with no valves or stopcocks in the flat. I tried draining but obviously couldnt without stopping the system filling. There is a pump in the...

Our towel rail is very hot at the bottom and almost cold from about the last 3/4 rails to the top.
I have looked everywhere but all I can see are the two valves at the bottom attatched to the in and out pipes but I cant see a bleed valve, at the top of the two main struts there are like round...
