The Dunst Opening is a chess opening in which White opens with the move:
1. Nc3This fairly uncommon opening may have more names than any other: it is also called the Heinrichsen Opening, Baltic Opening, Van Geet Opening, Sleipnir Opening, Kotrč's Opening, Meštrović Opening, Romanian Opening, Queen's Knight Attack, Queen's Knight Opening, Millard's Opening, Knight on the Left, and (in German) der Linksspringer.
Hi all
I am soon to replace a bath in a 1630mm opening. I don't know if the current bath has been chased into one wall, I just measured the opening, I think it's just an odd-sized old bath.
Basically, I am going to get a 1600mm bath and make good the gap at the end somehow.
My questions are...

Hey fellers good morning to you. I have just awakened and am having tea in bed while reading installer magazine and I have come to page 50 which is all about positions. I don't know if any of you get the magazine or not but I am a bit confused as to what it is saying about flue terminals for fan...
I need to install 22mm copper supply pipe from gas meter to boiler. I intend creating a channel at the base of my walls. This is where the plasterboard has stopped at about 25mm above the floor and thermalite is exposed. Is it okay for me to push the copper pipe up against the thermalite and...

Hi guys,
Am I right in saying that if a terminal is placed in a restricted area (i.e. within the min distance to an object or structure) then on a Vaillant, you can use the VTK to move the internal outlet pipe of the flue to a safe distance, thus making the previous terminal place an Air Inlet...
Went to B & Q yesterday with my beloved. We were walking past the bathroom displays and Gill

shower screen laid over it ! I called her a muppet and she didnt speak to me for a while.

I am trying to remove a tap head to inspect it and repair a drip. There is no retaining screw in the top of the upper cover, it all seems to be a single piece. I have scewed it to the biggest opening position, but it stops ther. I have tried to prise it off, but no joy. I have checked my 18...
I think I read a similar thread on this but can't find it.
glowworm combi, turn on a cold tap and most times the fan ( I think fan just from listening )
runs for a minute or so. is this just a glitch that sometimes happens?
is the solution simply to fit a check valve on the cold feed, if so...
Assuming the mi's state the normal 300mm distance from the fan flue termination, to an opening window/extractor. Am I correct in thinking if the distance is less than 300mm and the opening is above the flue, I would classify it as AR but if the opening is below or to the side of the flue it...
Hi all, just wondering if someone can help me with this. Am I right with this order of controls opening sequence - programmer on, thermostats check, zone valve(s) open, boiler starts, pump on?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi guys, just a quicky. I've not been gas safe for very long and I went to price up a boiler swap today. The new boiler is going in a different position. On the exterior wall there is an openable window and door on either side of the proposed flue position. I know there must be a minimum of...
Hi,
I am currently planning a kitchen lay out, which may involve replacing a combi boiler to a position next to a window. How close to a window can a flue be installed? If the window is constructed so only one side is opening, is this distance measured to the opening in the building (i.e fixed...
