cannot

The English modal verbs are a subset of the English auxiliary verbs used mostly to express modality (properties such as possibility, obligation, etc.). They can be distinguished from other verbs by their defectiveness (they do not have participle or infinitive forms) and by their neutralization (that they do not take the ending -(e)s in the third-person singular).
The principal English modal verbs are can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, and must. Certain other verbs are sometimes, but not always, classed as modals; these include ought, had better, and (in certain uses) dare and need. Verbs which share only some of the characteristics of the principal modals are sometimes called "quasi-modals", "semi-modals", or "pseudo-modals".

    Bath Taps cannot identify

Please can anyone help identify these taps? If we cannot identify the only way to replace cartridges etc is to take the whole bath out---which will cost a lot more and ruin tiles costing up to 1k. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you Sam

Sealed Flu - Engineer cannot inspect or fit hatches - Any options?

Hi we recently tried to get a gas safety certificate in our flat but because the flu is sealed it has been marked as at risk. After paying for investigation work (~£100) we were told that they could install inspection hatches (£400-£600) and that would be the end of the matter. However after...

    Saunier Duvall F30e leak.

Hello My boiler has developed a pinprick sized leak on what looks like the three way valve housing. I have put a bit of rubber over it and secured with cable ties. This seems to have done the trick for now (slight trickle) but what shall I use to repair it? I have looked at epoxy putty and...

Where exactly does it say the public cannot take the case off a boiler?

I think it is true that Jo Public is breaking the law when he tries to fix his gas appliance - even though he thinks he isn't touching the gas! And i think I've read about it in the GSR mag or Tb.... But can anyone state exactly where it would say clearly that this is illegal? .... Obviously...
