A friend asked me to take a look at a boiler in a flat he lets. It was a Kabin Pak combi - air was pouring out of the air vent. I closed the vent , brought the pressure back up to 1 bar by opening the filling loop, opened up the vent again - and turned the boiler back on - seems to be working fine now. Question is.... why was there so much air escaping from the vent in the first place
