Hi I got called to a vokera combi boiler the other day where it had turned off after heating up the house and would not come back on again. So I turned it off at the plug, turned it on again and it all worked fine. So, I said if it ever cuts out again just do this. Well I have just had a call from her saying it has locked out again and That she cannot get it to come on again. I tried switching from heating to hot water just to make sure it was all ok, so it seems it is doing it when the heating gets up to temperature and then won't come back on. So is this the overheat stat do you think? Or is there anything else I should be looking at when I go there?

or then again, reading up about it, it could be a faulty fan pump over run. If there is one thing I am nervous about it is costing myself a lot of money not diagnosing faults properly.

I came to that conclusion as the venturi and fan was clear. So it's a common fault on Volker boilers or all?

you could start a thread for each manufacturer or the most common. might be a long list or add a new sub forum in here.
