Ok, for anyone who has been caught up in the collapse of VIY and is concerned about the nvq2 assessments.

I have no positive news, today, I went to my local college and to be honest, I would have had a more positive meeting if I was discussing the capitalist state with Karl Marx.

The abbreviated version of a 30 minute meeting is that more calls need to be made with City and Guilds and the college supervisors. Apparently, my portfolio was incorrect, I'm incapable of soldering 2 pipes together blah blah. The last time I had such a negative conversation it was with my ex.

When questioned by the tutor (who was quite clearly used to dealing with 16/17 year olds) why I took this route of fast track, was not overly impressed with "learning direct and your college were not interested in helping me" "every door I knocked on was closed, so had no option but to go down this route" and finally "I'm sure I'll get help now, theres money in it for the college"

Still, I was assured that I'd receive a by Friday.

If you call Mark Kerry on 07790886367 you can still have your assessments done by him to complete your course work etc. I have chatted with him about this because Jo Lockwood is trying to muscle in on the act and charge us for the privelege. let me know how it all goes.

Are you talking about the new company that Jo owns ? Are you sure it is ok to put Marks phone number on the net? :)

Does anyone know if Mark is still doing assessments? tried his number and it's dead. Alternatively, does anyone know of any freelance assessors willing to sign off Level 2 work?
