I may be maturing into an old git, just like my Dad was; worrying; but this modern day TV, thankfully only free view, but cannot find anything other than crap. In early years; have to admit, remember BBC2 and ITV 4 coming on stream, there were some great programs; Now it's mainly rubbish. So in summary loads of channels and loads of rubbish.

Its all pysh. Even the news is pysh

remember when channel 5 was launched..(crap then and) ... skip a few years the only channel to find music vids was mtv ( if you had a rich friend)..Also remember when at about 12 o'clock tv would just stop with a picture of a kid next to a crossword board with a puppet. (test screen i think it was called).

How things have changed

Even channel 4 and sky used to shut down

24hr tv. Its all about choice. Shyte or more shyte and pay 50 quid a month to be fed it.
No thanks.
Remember before you go to bed turn off the tv and pull the plugs out

This always reminds me of one program that was on about tea time

Those were the days when there was decent pysh on the telly

its all been dumbed down remember when top gear was a factual show on how to look after your car and previewing the cars you might own in 5 years time now theres no chance of every owning the super cars (apart from kirk)you never see anything of the mechanicals or they are of on a junket around the world
even shows like "how its made" show everything in fast moving segments as if it wouldnt keep any interested for more than 2 seconds

yes i think the standard of tv's has def gone down hill in the last 10 years.
