It’s a
ceramic cartridge type, and the washer isn’t stuck inside existing seating. You need to remove the washer and obtain a new cartridge suitable for that shower. Do you know the make and model?

Hi Chris,
thanks for the reply.
The cartridge is the white part in the middle of the housing (in the first picture) ? (with the 2 pizza slice shaped hole in it?
Or it the cartridge in the wall?
No I dont know the make/model. If I remove I presume I could take to a pumbing supplies store?
Yes it’s the brass section with the white pizza looking
ceramic pieces. You can try to take to a merchants, but they probably won’t have one in stock (could be wrong) but there’s that many showers. Could send a photo to the
Showerdoc
In the fitting in the wall there is a blue seal which the ceramic disc presses on. it looks in bad condition and if removed and replaced the leak should stop. I would also give the cartridge a soak in descaling fluid to clean it up.

Hi all I'm hoping someone can shine a light on this for me
Since our stop tap on the pavement has now been filled with sand for whatever reason, we are relying on our property fitted stopcock (this is outside on our garage wall)
Unfortunately turning this to the closed position only reduces...
Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated.
Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
