So I live above a laundrette
Their main drain outlet has been blocked for almost a month, can slowly seep down overnight but have tried plunging the life out of it, also had a few attempts by various companies to clear with high power Jets.
But everything points towards it needing digging up/replacing.
Dynorod, Thames Water already just tried jetting it. But did not fix it. All saying the old interceptor / buchan trap needs replacing.

THe last company tried jetting and said the same. THey gave a quote to dig up and fix of about £5k
The fault is located about 8 foot below the cellar in a very tight space between gas pipes and huge water tanks.

Just wondering if that quote sounds reasonable, I was hoping there was a way to be able to clear it without digging but the last company (plumbjet) looked to specialise in this method but said the only way would be to dig.

Are there any other methods to fix this & what do you think is a reasonable price to get it done.

Thanks for your time.

Pour 2kg of clean phosphorus in and then add some sugar. Then run
