I have a customer who is keen on having a radiator put in their bay window so will obviously need to be bent. I've never had this done before, does anyone know any companies in the south east that they would recommend and also roughly how much does it cost?

Probably two arms and two legs.

I've been looking for the same up in the North East. No definitive price, I have to make a plywood template, and it could take two months to get it.

Upshot, now fitting 2 DP+ at each side.

Just done one before Xmas. Made the template from the boiler carton, took it to local man who does only rad bending and two days later he dropped the rad back to site for the sum of ÂŁ125

Shiv are pretty good - whilst I would stop short of actually recommending ANY rad-bender, if your customer really wants a bent rad, Shiv are good guys to do it. And they buy radiators from a very fine independent merchant... :)

Wonder who that is Ray? :) :) :)

you can only bend a singell panell rad, which are hard to get hold of today unless you get a sd and cut the finnes off.
In durham TWS still bend rad last time cost ÂŁ45. done next day

ask your local merchants they will direct you to your nearest bender or get it done for you you need to take a template we always use lining paper cut to the shape of the floorb to the skirting and we always write on it the fact that its cut to skirting and the benders allow for the thickness of the skirting if its longer nthan about 1000 mm youll need two people to hang it as once bent they are akward to handle if it has three brackets always put the center one a few mm low as the rads do twist a bit when rolled and if they are level its a nightmare

can be fiddly to hang, sometimes you need to pack out a bracket as the wall is not true to the template taken from the skirt.

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
