Hi Guys, Im looking to come to Australia in january/febuary 2024. I have a working holiday visa already sorted. I run my own plumbing and heating company that has been going for 3 years but i have been plumbing for 10 years. i also have my gas qualification.

Im giving up everything to come to come to aus and want to get stuck into to some work straight away. im looking to stay in maroubra.

Please could someone take the time to give me some advise on the best way to find a job , what i need to get sorted before e.g health and safety card ect ect.

really appreciate it

thanks Jordan

Been a while since I looked at it all. Working holiday visa prob won't cut it, only allowed so many weeks at one spot.
You'll need to go to college (tafe) to upgrade your skills, all a but of a nightmare.
But things could have changed since I looked into it all.
Have a look on BritishExpats.com

Plenty of work over here for **** money.
Not sure on transferring qualifications, but probably some **** course available that will teach you less than you know.

I did a course many years ago that had some Poms in there.
They knew more than the person running the course - they subsequently failed the course.
Still good mates with one of the blokes who did the course.

Really shouldn't be to hard to find a job in NSW, depending on your skill set and ability.

Not my State, but give it a try.

Hope it all works out for you

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
