hello, we are installing a Ferroli Modena condensing boiler and could install auto air vents 1m from the boiler or near the end of the circuit. Is there any problem placing them near the boiler (loss of pressure etc)?

Thanks

so if bolier in kitchen you put auto air vents in ? even if its pressurised ?

best fitted by/near the pump and closed once the system has been commissioned correctly.

They are auto air vents so will be left in, but true once initial reactions have taken place, there should little air created in the system.

honeywell state that they should be closed once the system has been commissioned. They are designed for filling the system more than keeping air out. They also leak after a year or two if left open so dont fit them in inaccessable locations. next to loft hatch is a good idea, if you want to leave one open fit it by the pump as this is where air is generated.

Not on the negative side or you'll be called back once it fails and starts drawing air in.
