Basically after fitting new pvc piping to old 22mm copper there seems to be little/no flow from the hot water tap after reconnection and it appears to be brownish water for first second or so?
New to the forum so HELLO
Detail:
For plumbing new bathroom I needed an extra T for hot and cold water to feed the new shower.
Old pipework was replaced with new with only the extra 2 t pieces for the shower.
On reapplying reapplying the mains water from the stopcock, the hot water pipe hissed and sounded like bubbles passing, at that point I noticed never completely tightened one of the fittings so off with the water again. Once that was tightened, then back on with the water but there is now no pressure from the hot water tap? Also the burner does not come on as it should/would as if there was demand i.e.turning the hot water tap. Also the pressure seems to build after a minute or so to a normalish amount but after the initial blast then there's little flow?
What seems weird is that after running the HW tap for 30m ins there was no hot water but after the CH was on then the slow trickle trickle of water becomes hot?.? Could be coincidence due to the low flow and the large distance between kitchen tap and boiler. Don't think it should matter but kitchen tap Is a mixer and I've and I've no other direct HE taps at the moment incasein case it in case it just in case it just wasn't seeing full demand if you get what if Mean?
Hopefully it's a simple cure and hope someone out there has some ideas? Everything's pretty much like for like so hope the boiler isn't screwed after the air is in the system
Thanksin advance and sorry if it's it's a total Newby question
