Heating problem - funny noise

I have a heating problem/ question. For some reason the system has started to make a load vibration noise a whooshing noise. It seems to be coming from upstairs airing cupboard or loft (pump and 3 port valve located here). Not the boiler. And it only happens when the system first starts up from cold. I bled all the air out last night hoping this was the problem but it did it again today. Any ideas or thoughts. Once it's done it once it does not do it again until the next cold start next day or evening? Thanks in advance

Not entirely sure but a good few years i should imagine.

the system has been bled since this has started happening but it still continues

weekly at best i would suggest. it is an older open vent system. the problem seems recent, since changing the 3 port valve

It could be sucking air in through the vent pipe

Slow pump speed down maybe
But why needs attention if nothing done to it ? But I suppose that’s what keeps us all in business happy days

Well there is the answer maybe, change pump speed , bash the new valve with a wrench or give it a kick and report back
