Evening all, I was asked to look at a 30 CXI combi for my childrens scout leader this afternoon.
3 amp fuse is fine, carried basic checks as usual.
Lcd display totally blank, no power at all to the internal fast blow fuse.
Checked the on off switch and is supplying 240 v to the pcb, slight buzzing noise from the pcb when the on/off switch is held in the midway position.
M I on site do not mention blank lcd at all, pressure was topped up, over heat stat was checked for continuity.
New Main pcb has been ordered and hopefully comes tomorrow, any tips on checking before fitting as I dont want to ruin a good pcb if something has taken out this one.
Not many of these around here so havent played with one yet !
