I have had an offer from a GSE to shadow him so i can build up my portfolio, he has a contract coming up to do some servicing and repairs to about 24 LPG boilers on a camp site, he said i am more than welcome to go with him and help/shadow, him. But he said he wasnt sure if LPG can be used to make up my portfolio for assessment

If you can spare the time go along anyway. You'll still gain valuable experience...

im going anyway masood, thats a cert, what me and him want to know is if its worth me taking photos of me working on LPG appliances, as it dependsw on whether i can submit them as part of my portfolio

Speak to your college, don't think you can but worth checking as may be able to do LPG and then do the changeover once completed but I think they prefer the other way round

I can see that it would be good gas work experience, but NG would be required if that's the route your taking. These LPG jobs should be really good, as you will probably come across Widney gas fires, water heaters and boilers as well as cookers, may even come across fridges as well.

Fair enough thank you all for your replies, will go just for the XP!
