Hi All,
i've not been on for a while.

a quick question. another gas engineer has said that gas engineers who are landlords are not allowed to do safety checks on their rental properties. is this correct?

sounded rather absurd to me but he is pretty adamant.

Gas regs are regs and have nothing to do with who is the landlord

Doesnt matter
Its a good chance to have a look around and at least you can do it properly and service all appliances, bleed rads, check for leaks etc
