Following the thread on the open forum, here what I have found out:

They were only incorporated in January of this year, so they don't have much of a track record yet. Experian credit reference agency label them "maximum risk".

The only director, James Cooper, is also a director of JLC Property Services Ltd, which has been around a couple of years longer, and is rated "high risk". From another posters research, the address of Finance 4 Trades is a builders yard.

It may be completely kosher, but it is not a well established business. Mind you, every one had to start somewhere.

Hope this helps.

Ray

Cheers Ray keep getting emails from them every couple of weeks ,
personally happy doing what I'm doing but good to know if companies are good bad or just plain sour.

I could of sworn that someone was saying about them last year, I could be wrong though.

interesting thread on Faceboom where a James Cooper is advertising for installers

I smell a rat...

Yep - its the same bloke. His FB page has links to the building company.

Not on here to my knowledge Mark, but yes, he is on the FB page.

I don't think he has actually done anything wrong - its just that my antennae are twitching. I have asked him outright on FB if he is the same James Cooper (I know he is, because the company names and registered addresses match).

No answer yet.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
