sometimes its quicker to stich tbh, but i think the core bit is more important than the drill. Id rather have an ok drill and good bit than a good drill and a ok bit.
 
Good drills don't break your wrists when the bit bites lol.

Thats why i've asked this question lol. The clutch has burnt out on my Makita a couple of times and both times its not done my wrist any good!

Also, with regards to the core bits what are the Macrist bits like?!
